Canadian Golf - The Golf Tour Of Your Imagination to the Canadian Golf of Canada

Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island (PEI) may be the smallest of the Canadian provinces but it is large on golfing treasures and likely the best-kept secret in North American golf travel. Americans in particular have a hard time placing its location, and though many mistakenly think it's located in the Caribbean many Caribbean-like experiences await on this island in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.  Seaside courses with a links-type feel...some of the most beautiful beaches imaginable (red sand!) with some of the world's most historic lighthouses...beautiful rural countrysides contrasting against blue-sea backdrops...quiet and charming villages filled with friendly locals and wonderful seafood restaurants...a bustling capital full of great pubs and historic sightseeing attractions...all with a pace of life that is slow and relaxed and is guaranteed to refresh even the biggest workaholics.   Wonderful hotels are a given but you may enjoy even more the opportunity to settle in to a traditional cottage in the north or east region of the Province (or both!).  These type of accommodations are perfect both for golfing groups and for families with clusters of courses nearby and lots of space to make yourself at home in the evenings.  The capital of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, is the "birthplace of Confederation" where delegates from the former British North America joined together as the nation of Canada, and a tour of Founders Hall in town is a must for those that want to learn about the history of America's northern neighbor.  Click through on our course pages linked here and see for yourself why PEI is called the "Gentle Island!"  There is no better spot for your golfing vacation this side of the Atlantic.
