Canadian Golf - The Golf Tour Of Your Imagination to the Canadian Golf of Canada

Banff and Jasper

Banff and Jasper—Alberta’s famous mountain resorts and the very best of the Canadian Rockies!  Nearly everyone is familiar with the grand and glorious sight of Banff Springs Hotel jutting up into the peaks, one of North America’s greatest and most historic hotels for certain.  One can only imagine its grandeur and once there in person, it does not disappoint!  Every inch a castle, it overlooks one of Canada’s greatest and most historic golf courses, Banff Springs.  Designed by the great Stanley Thompson, who surely should be mentioned in the same breath as Alister MacKenzie and Donald Ross, Banff Springs is a treasure, blended into the terrain nestled between the mountains and home to the famous “Devil’s Cauldron” par-3.  90 minutes from Banff, across the border in British Columbia, is the number 1-rated course in Western Canada, Greywolf Golf Course, one that must be seen to be believed.  A few hours north of Banff is another Thompson classic at Jasper Park Lodge, and another amazing hotel.  In between is the famous Columbia Icefield on the boundary between Banff and Jasper national parks, where you can take a SnoCoach out to the Athabasca Glacier!
