Canadian Golf - The Golf Tour Of Your Imagination to the Canadian Golf of Canada

Whistler

Whistler—home of the 2010 Winter Olympic alpine events and a place thought by many to be the world’s greatest winter sports destination.  Those in the know however recognize it as offering nothing less than one of the world’s greatest SUMMER golf destinations.  The rocky, snow-capped peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains tower over some amazingly spectacular golfing venues.  Experience mountain golf at its finest at Chateau Whistler, home to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.  Enjoy the only simultaneous mountain/seaside venue we know of on Earth, Furry Creek along the Pacific shores of Howe Sound.  Play renowned Nicklaus North alongside impossibly-green (and aptly named!) Green Lake, whose icy waters come straight from the pristine glaciers at the top of the mountain range.  See Arnold Palmer’s major contribution to Canadian Golf down the road at Whistler Golf Club.  And walk the fairways under some of the world’s biggest sky in nearby Pemberton, at Big Sky Golf & Country Club.  Off the course there are trails for hiking and biking, the famous Whistler “Zip Lines”, mountain biking at Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains (if you dare!), incredible accommodations and a world-class spa at Chateau Whistler, and an array of gourmet restaurants and inviting pubs in beautiful Whistler Village.  You will want to stay here forever!
